too often we think of love as this ultimate savior that will pull us out of this big rut we find ourselves in. love isn't always clean, it isn't always pretty. many times we mistake the fluttering in our tummies for something more than it really is; sure love is amazing, it's beautiful, it helps us through a lot of hard times in our lives. but what about the darker side of love? the side that makes us hungry, lovesick ravaging monsters? the side where, if you and your lover happen to be separated for a certain amount of time, leaves you hollow, it leaves your lips thirsting for another kiss, leaves your skin crawling, a thousand tiny little worms, just for one more touch. it makes the days and especially the nights drag on for eons. it makes you want to crawl into a hole,makes you want nothing more than to just curl up and dissapear back into the earth, where maybe if your lucky, your body will precipitate into rainfall, to pour down on his face, to make him feel what it's like to have droplets running down your cheeks. just to see him one more time.
